Epic revenue cycle configuration - fixed fee, warrantied
Builds that work, and keep working after the next upgrade.
Springbrook configures Epic PB and HB for insurance follow-up, credits, claim attachments, consecutive accounts, and Medicare Part B inpatient billing. Every engagement is fully scoped before it starts, priced as a fixed fee, and covered by a one-year warranty.
What we measure
Technical outcomes from real engagements.
500+
Follow-up logic rules re-sequenced across four PB follow-up profiles. One academic medical center, live in production.
~3,000
Manual remittance postings per month eliminated with a custom ingestion build. Four-hospital rollout including critical access sites.
~20,000
PB and HB credits routed to automated resolution, with refund requests auto-generated. One regional health system.
We publish technical outcomes, not financial ones.
A build can work $3M of held AR in place of staff and still create no financial value if the operation doesn't change with it. We guarantee what we can measure and attribute. The rest we report honestly.
Services
Seven services. One set of rules.
Insurance Follow-Up Optimization
No-response follow-up, specifically: retimes human no-response follow-up first, then adds 276/277 claim status automation on top. Claim status adds nothing to a follow-up operation that isn't already timed right. Denial management is a separate form of insurance follow-up and is not part of this line.
$140,000PB or HB
CER-driven routing, LPP mapping, and refund automation so credits self-sort into next-action queues. PLB credit matching included. HB is an audit-and-fix; PB carries the build.
$200,000PB · HB $35,000
Posts PLB adjustments from remittance in a way credit handling can use. The prerequisite for Credits Optimization where posting configuration is absent; sold on its own as well.
$100,000PB or HB
Two services: proactive attachments sent with the claim, and reactive attachments generated from ADR denials. Functions without RPA; portal delivery available through a partner if you want the last mile automated.
$100,000each · PB or HB
Consecutive Accounts Optimization
One matrix, one source of truth, for the 72-hour rule, same-day readmits, transfers, PHP overlap, and ESRD consolidation.
$175,000HB
Medicare Part B Inpatient Billing
AB rebill, full and partial exhaust, Part B only, and straight Part B, with deterministic claim field population and billing-indicator governance.
$175,000HB
How value is realized
Automation frees capacity. Whether that becomes savings depends on how you're staffed.
Our standing advice: hire permanent staff until marginal cost approaches marginal benefit. As it does, keep about 10% of revenue cycle staffing outsourced. Let efficiency gains retire that buffer, not the people you offered careers to.
If you want inflated numbers instead, we're not the right firm.
